Bags distributed beginning: June 20/21. Return filled bags before Mass on June 27/28.

Now more than ever, families in the Pontiac area depend on food pantries and the generosity of others for their daily meals. One major source of food is the Catholic Community Response Team (CCRT), an agency our faith family has supported for over fifteen years.  Once again, St. John Fisher is partnering with CCRT and the Ladies of Charity to    provide food assistance for those in need. Each year, the Ladies of Charity prepare over 3,500 bags of groceries and many bags of clothing tailored to CCRT clients’ needs.

The Outreach Ministry will be distributing bags in the Gathering Space after Mass on the weekends of June 14 and 21. The food lists are also available on the website, e-blast and Facebook. Checks delivered to SJF written to Ladies of Charity with “SJF Food Drive” on the memo line are also welcome. Please return your filled bag before Mass on June 27 or 28. Thank you!
