Baptisms are usually held the second Sunday of each month with an immediate preparation session held at 6:00 p.m. the Thursday before the Sunday Baptism. Baptism Catechesis sessions for parents are scheduled quarterly. Call the office for scheduling.

Policies presented here apply to all parish members seeking Baptism. Parents must contact the parish office at (248) 373-6457 to make arrangements for Baptism.

Baptisms are generally held the second Sunday of each month except during Lent.
No more than four individuals are baptized at any one ceremony.
Parents may only sign up for a Baptism date after they have attended the Baptism Catechesis once.
There are two mandatory parent meetings, the second of which the Godparents are expected to attend.
Baptism Catechesis: Attend a two-hour meeting once per family/couple sometime before signing up for Baptism. These sessions are offered only a few times per year, so it is recommended that new or soon-to-be parents plan ahead. Baptism Catechesis dates currently scheduled:

April 20, 2010 and June 1 at 7:00 PM in the Activities Center
Preparation for the Rite of Baptism: This session is usually held the Thursday before the Sunday of Baptism at 6:00 p.m. Please call Sue Buratto at 373-6457 to make arrangements.
