"Building Our Future" Development Campaign

Campaign Letter

Dear Community Member,

We are entering a very exciting time in the development of our community! Over the past two years the Worship Space Evaluation Committee has worked to develop a conceptual plan to address lighting, access, and other concerns.

The plan has three phases that will take place over the next nine years. We are now starting our first phase with our “Building Our Future” Development Campaign. Given the nature of some of these projects, memorial pledging levels will be available. Pledges can be made for periods of three to nine years.

All of the renovations depend on the pledges made by our parishioners. We are asking everyone to “front load” their pledge, as much as possible, by making a significant deposit with their pledge. We hope to raise enough funds to provide the funding necessary to complete the overhaul of the lighting by June of 2004.

We will use the Catholic Services Appeal to administer our campaign because it is the most cost-effective way to run a development campaign. Parishioners that wish to donate directly to St. John Fisher may do so.

At this time we ask our faith family to prayerfully reflect on God’s blessings. We are aware of the difficult situations that some of our parishioners are in due to job loss and our economic times and offer our prayerful support. For our parish families who are able, we ask you to make as generous a pledge as you can to ensure that we can continue to grow and meet our needs.

Please return your pledge card in the enclosed stamped, self-addressed envelope or by putting it in the collection basket by May 23, 2003.

The enclosed brochure and Questions and Answer sheet contains more information on our church renovations and other development needs. God’s blessings and peace!
