Mission:
Prepare for the community at-large creative and unique liturgical celebrations of the sacraments that inspire individuals to live their lives as exemplified by Jesus.
Objectives:

At monthly
meetings plan the major liturgical seasons and events including:
· Provide vehicle/tool to help the community focus on the theme
through prayer at Liturgy
· Provide a vehicle/tool to bring message into homes (e.g. Advent
inserts)
· Focus on diversity
· Preserve the importance of ritual/understanding/traditions and
various cultures, (e.g. bread on Holy Thursday, daffodils on Good
Friday, Servants’ Sign on back wall, banner.)
· Commit ourselves to personal spiritual growth and communal
worship, (e.g. Holy Week Readings, Little Black Books, Communion
Meditations, Month of Remembering with Offertory Litany of
Remembering.)

Take
advantage of special enrichment programs and resources for the
members.

Communicate and work as needed with other ministries.

Measure
and evaluate our resources and the effectiveness of our ministry in
light of our St. John Fisher Mission and Vision.

Resource Needs (Time, Talent, Treasure):
Time:
Planning – One monthly meeting (2 hours), Adequate time prior to A &
E meeting
Talent: To generate and develop themes and content for rituals
Treasure: Sufficient resources to support the plans for 2004-05:
$7,500 (combined with Art and Environment)
Ministry with
Community Special Emphasis:
Committing
ourselves as a ministry to become familiar with the PPA survey
recommendations (pertaining to this ministry) and
consider/incorporate them into our planning of the rituals.
