2011-2012

Welcome, Youth Group Teens and Parents to the St. John Fisher Youth Group!!

Who are we?: We are a Christian group open to all public, private, and home- schooled high schoolers in grades 9-12.

Why your child should be involved?: Youth Group is a wonderful group which fosters faith, fun and fellowship. Your child will meet new friends in our community and learn how they can impact those in need in our area and throughout the world through events like our annual 30 Hour Famine.

How to keep in Touch: The very best way to get all the latest information regarding Youth Group Events is right here on this webpage! For additional e-mail reminders and updates please send your e-mail address to us at www.foureyesfam@gmail.com (please put Youth Group in the subject box so we know where this is coming from).

The Rules:
* All events are chaperoned by background checked adults * ONLY background checked adults drive on any scheduled trips * Your child will be treated as one of ours. We strive to be inclusive and a safe haven for all our young people to fit in and flourish.

How you can help: Many hands make light work... Many events are labor intensive. Your time and talents are greatly appreciated. Please do try to attend our one and ONLY Parent Meeting, Sunday,
September 11th. Bring your calendar and your check book!

Youth Group Meetings: Look for Youth Group meetings about twice a month. Again, the website will be your best source for accurate up to date information. There is also a drop box in the coat room in the back of church where you can pick up a calendar of events, permission slips...
All events are filled on a first come... first in basis. Envelopes are numbered as they are received and lists are placed on line of all information received The best way to make sure your spots are noted on a timely basis is to send them directly to the home of our leaders:
Beth & Mark Kudla 1749 Old Homestead Dr. Rochester Hills, MI 48306

* We do NOT want anyone to be left out based on need. We do have $$ available to help.
Your requests will be handled discretely and graciously. Call Beth at 248 370-1004 for any
assistance you may require. Or anything else we should know about your child.

Group Leaders: This is Mark and Beth Kudla's seventh year directing Youth Group. They have two college student who were active in the program Jenna, a junior at U of M, and Nathan,a freshman at Kalamazoo College. Joey, a sophomore at Adams is active in YG. They have lived in Rochester for 15+ years and have been members of SJF for 13 years.

Want to be a member of our Senior Advisory Board? Tapping into our great active high school leaders, we are asking for their input to help guide and direct our group. We look forward to new and fresh insights from these great leaders. Upperclassmen...give us a call!

Questions and Concerns: For any questions relative to our program please e-mail us at
foureyesfam@gmail.com or call at 248 370-1004.
*If your questions are specifically dealing with the Confirmation process please call Michelle Pittel at the parish office at 248 373- 3130. She will be your best source for confirmation preparation.

All forms and information have already been loaded into the website. We look forward to seeing you and your teens and will be receiving forms and updating the website as they are received.

Thanks so much,
Beth and Mark Kudla
