Mission:
Develop and implement a comprehensive you ministry program that
encompasses all aspects of the bishops’ statement, Renewing the
Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry.
Objectives:
- Establish a Youth Ministry Advisory
Council.
- Continue youth involvement in Parish
Leadership Council.
- Sponsor programs facilitating active
and conscious participation in parish life.
- Increase involvement of youth in
leadership opportunities in Youth Group, Parish, and community.
- Introduce a youth mentoring program
for older youth to sponsor 8th and 9th graders involved in the
Confirmation process.
- Continue to facilitate youth
involvement in liturgical ministries.
- Make available and encourage
participation in Vicariate social and worship activities.
- Participation in Subiaco retreat and
Challenge.
- Continue social, service, and
outreach activities .
