Mission: 

Provide catechetical experiences and sacramental preparation for youth ages 3 through grade 8 within the context of their membership in St. John Fisher Community.

Objectives:

• Recruit and prepare catechists for the religious education program. 
• Provide enrichment, in-service, prayer, and social opportunities for catechists.
• Provide a registration and placement for participants in catechesis.
• Offer 25+ hours of age appropriate catechesis.
• Facilitate two family gatherings for outreach activities.
• Prepare grade five to present the Liturgy of the Word at the Christmas Eve Mass.
• Make participants aware of their responsibilities to those less fortunate through charitable and outreach opportunities.
• Increase global awareness through justice education and about and partnerships with the communities of Ellecuria & Eldoret.

Statement of Resource Needs (Time, Talent, Treasure):

Time, talent and treasure in the 2003-2004 budget will provide resources for this ministry. It is a labor intensive program.
