Mission: 

Provide catechesis, preparation, and celebration for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, and Reconciliation for parents and candidates.

Objectives:

• Provide Baptism catechesis approximately 5 times per year.
  
• Engage parents and children in Eucharist preparation:
  a. Individual parent conferences.
  b. Parent catechesis session.
  c. Family participation in an enrollment ceremony
  d. Individual interviews of Eucharist candidates prior to Family celebrations.
  e. Planning and facilitation of group celebration of Eucharist.
  
• Engage parents and children in Reconciliation preparation:
  a. Parent catechesis session
  b. Planning and facilitation of Communal Reconciliation Celebration
• Provide immediate preparation for Confirmation for students in grades 8, 9 and up.
• Enrollment ceremony and parent/child meeting.
  a. Day long retreat
  b. Service activities within and beyond the parish, including service with the poor.
  c. Participation in one Sunday workshop of 5 hours each.
  d. Individual interviews with each candidate for Confirmation.
  e. Individual meetings between Fr. Jerry and each candidate with letter to pastor.
  f. Planning and facilitation of the celebration of Confirmation.
