Mission: 

Provide opportunities for Catholic school students to participate in activities for youth in the St. John Fisher Community and prepare students for sacrament celebration in the appropriate grades.

Objectives:

  • Update database of Catholic and non-public school students each fall with current grade and school by contacting local schools for enrollment information.
  • Send letter and registration from to parents of non-public students each fall with information brochure explaining preparation for sacraments.
  • Integrate non-public school students in sacramental preparation and celebration at appropriate times.
  • Collaborate with the non-public school contact persons to invite students to participate in extra curricular learning opportunities, field trips, social and service activities.
  • Continue proactive communication to the parents and principals of Holy Family Regional School.

Statement of Resource Needs (Time, Talent, Treasure):

Continuing the present Junior Youth Group and Elementary Coordinators will to be the talent and treasure that is needed.

Ministry with Community Special Emphasis:

Special Emphasis in the ministry is the involvement of students from non-public schools in parish activities.

St. John Fisher is one of five supporting parishes of Holy Family Regional School, a Catholic school founded on the gospel message of Jesus Christ.  Holy Family consists of two campuses --the North Campus services Kindergarten through the 3rd grade and the South Campus grades 4 through 8.
