Our gift to the village of Ellecuria, El Salvador

The banner shown below was crafted by Laura Rangos and will be hand carried by the Peters family this Easter time as they visit the country and eventually Ellecuria. Laura describes the banner as follows:

I wanted to visually show that by reaching out to Ellecuria, the people of St. John Fisher recognize that we are joined with Ellecuria as one people in God. The two circles (Ellecuria and St. John Fisher) cross over each other, they are moving together, joining toward the center. Circles are present in nearly every piece of fabric used. The connected people stretched across pick up the colors used on the opposite side of the banner to give it balance. It illustrates a balance existent in all of us because we are created from the same fabric, different colors on the outside, the same beauty on the inside.
