Mission: 

To support families of our community in their work of prayer, outreach and celebration of life together; to link our chapel community with the prayer and social life of each "domestic church" community; to help focus on building the strengths of the family unit in its search for peace, communication, and conflict resolution through family activities as it seeks to build God's kingdom.

Objectives:

• Inform, educate, and support parents in ideals and values of Christian living.
• Incorporate the Liturgical Calendar more fully into daily family life.
• Enhance, broaden and highlight family involvement in the many varied ministries at SJF: Social, Liturgical, Outreach and Religious Education.
• Communicate the hallmarks of this ministry as PRAYER, SERVICE and CELEBRATION.

Statement of Resource Needs (Time, Talent, Treasure):

Resources to support promotion of: Table Prayer, Outreach (Hunger Walk, Paint the Town, Food Baskets), Earthcare Ministry Projects, Home Advent and Lent connections, Celebration of the lives of the saints.

Ministry with Community -Special Emphasis:

Promoting faith awareness in the home through educational opportunities provided to the community as a whole. (i.e. distribution of a liturgical calendar)

Providing opportunities to promote faith awareness and spirituality in the home through workshops and seminars.
