Mission: 

Our continued mission is to enhance and maintain the grounds at SJF through the volunteer efforts of our community. Our purpose is to use the beauty of God’s creation to help set the mood for worship and prayer.

Objectives:

• Work with the volunteers to continue our efforts to maintain SJF property with consideration to the environment and our respect of our parish family.
• Continue planting perennials, where appropriate, to reduce annual expenses and provide growth potential for the future.
• Promote the “Adopt-A-Bed” program in response to the Parish Pastoral Assembly responses last year.
• With the volunteers and committee members continue to maintain the property to reflect our appreciation for SJF and our faith family.

Statement of Resource Needs: (Time, Talent, Treasure)

The Committee and our volunteers work to maintain the property around SJF, conduct the Spring Plant-In and the Fall Clean-Up. Many labor hours are required to maintain the property during the summer months and volunteers for “Adopt-A-Bed” program will help us keep the beds looking their best. Early this spring we will be asking for volunteers to join the “Adopt-A-Bed” program. Ever want to be a “Plant Manager?” Here’s your chance!
