Mission:

To provide an oversight and advisory function for the parish by reviewing the financial activities of the chapel, focusing on ensuring that our commitment of treasure is being used wisely and effectively.

Objectives:

  • Develop and distribute a financial report (2003-2004) to the community, highlighting major activities during the year, together with periodic updates outlining how we are doing with respect to our budget.
  • Assist with conducting our annual “Stewardship Commitment” month.
  • Work with our parish leadership to define and prioritize future needs, and manage our development campaign in support of theses objectives.
  • Assist in the development of a Master Plan for the parish, and provide input and counsel on the financial aspects of the Plan.
  • Continuously improve the collection counting process and rotate team membership periodically.

Statement of Resource Needs: (Time, Talent, Treasure)

The time, talent, and involvement of our ministry members. Membership is open to all parishioners.

Ministry with Community - Special Emphasis:

For 2004-2005, St. John Fisher Chapel Community wants to pay special attention to the Parish Pastoral Assembly Speak-Up Group recommendations. This will include the summaries of each of the nine topics and the PPA survey results, which were  promulgated at Pentecost 2003.
